whenever apollo does something particularly dickish or stupid hermes takes the time out of his busy day to follow him around with a megaphone yelling ever helpful reminders at him until apollo snaps and attacks him with his own caduceus
haha in mythology hermes and apollo are actually more or less best friends and it's super cute what a bunch of jackasses
also perhaps unrelated but i recently realized i've been picturing apollo as more or less tamaki suoh from ouran high school host club, except *actually* an asshole and if you look at mythology this is actually a spot on interpretation of apollo jfc
