they're blushing through the power of love, meli, through the power of love (actually it's because i couldn't get another color to work the same intended effect so uh)
i really wanted another ghost kid to add to meli's group, that way I could balance out the boys and girls-- Vali and Nari, Itylus, Eupinytus, and then the girls, Meli, Eudoxa, and Cleodoxa. But I learned that apparently Greek mythology is the only mythology with a weird abundance of dead children (??????????) and so I was forced to pick from that pool again. So here, Iphigenia (or Genny for short), the daughter of Agamemnon who was sacrificed as a tribute to the gods (which then caused an entire messy mess of events, by which I mean lots and lots of murder. also shoutout to last year's theater class yeaaahhhh)
She's like 14/15, Vali and Nari are 100% in love with her, Cleo and Eudo are really freaking jealous even though they'll never admit it, and Meli's just trying to figure out how they're blushing without a bloodflow.

oh my god there's only one picture of Persephone in both of my art albums
AND TO THINK, SHE'S WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Seph is Maci's mom, and Neo and Rasmus's grandma (though she'd probably punch you if you called her a grandma jfc). I dunno what's going on in this picture except that I wanted to draw Seph-- if you've seen drawings of her before you may have noticed that she looks a little different! Yes, she's got a new outfit, her hair is a little bit altered, and her face is just sliiightly changed. Seph and Maci were created at a time where I thought the only way to signify mother and daughter was "give them the exact same face and colors and dress them different." ha ha. oops. Fixed now-- they ARE supposed to look really alike though, so there isn't much I could do.
Just as an aside, Seph isn't the type of mother to "backseat parent" if you will. Her own mother was a nightmare when it came to hovering, and so Seph knows enough to chill out, gods.
(If you're looking for a mother who would absolutely hover over her children + grandchildren as a know-it-all, that is Nyx. You are looking for Nyx. Nyx pulls the "I have 40 something kids and you don't so obviously I know what I'm talking about" card, CONSTANTLY.)

also about this drawing, i have a "policy" of drawing myself in whatever i'm currently wearing to avoid having to think of clothes because that sucks. of course i picked the day i was wearing an actual freaking screencap of the lion king and i wasn't going to draw that, so i found the shirt online and just pasted it onto the drawing whoops.
aaaalllsssooo i have no idea what than's clothing color scheme is. let's just say he's got a whole bunch of red chitons and collars idk

You know, in earth science, we're doing projects on planets or moons and I may or may not have picked Jupiter's moon Ganymede just so I can explain to my class the mythological origins of the name. x)
Anyway yeah I'm drawing Ganymede again because he's fun he's a fun character what could be more fun than Zeus' most prominent slave
Top right is the "current day" design, and the bottom is his appearance at the time of that infamous eagle kidnap, which took place before straighteners and hair product was invented.
