Melinoe, Vali, and Nari are bffls because they're immortal children (or, er, dead) and have no one else. It's so much fun playing/drawing/writing them that I wanted to find more dead/immortal children for them, so I dug around Greek mythology and came up with these guys. The Niobids!
In Greek mythology, a mortal queen named Niobe had 14 children- 7 sons, and 7 daughters. Of course, Niobe was kind of an idiot, and bragged constantly to everyone about how much better she was than Leto, the mother of twins Apollo and Artemis, because Leto had had only 1 son and 1 daughter, in opposition to her 7 ea. Naturally, this pissed off Leto pretty badly, and in turn, Apollo and Artemis got pissed off, too. So, they went down to Niobe and her kids, and shot 12 of them with arrows, to make it even; Apollo killed all the boys, Artemis killed all the girls.Niobe was absolutely devastated at the death of her children, despite it being entirely her own fault, and she prayed to Zeus to turn her into a rock so she wouldn't have to deal with the guilt and misery any longer. He complied, and somewhere in the mountains is a rock that cries every night.
The two surviving children were Amyclas (not shown because who cares) and a girl named Meliboea. Meliboea was so traumatized by the slaughter of her siblings that her skin turned permanently a sickly greenish pale, and she changed her name to Chloris.
There is a nymph with the same name who lives in the Elysian Fields (aka where every other character we all play lives), and since I wanted to incorporate Chloris a little, I combined the two of them. Fun fact, she was the nymph who, at the gods' requests, turned Narcissus, Hyacinthus, and etc etc into flowers.
I am not even totally sure of all characterizations for this bunch yet. What I have so far is as follows;
-I know that the 'doxa-twins will be the most pessimistic, cynical things ever, like, not even morbid/creepy, just nasty and pissed off 24/7. Out of all of them, they're the only ones who really continue to be offended and bitter over their murder.
-All of them live together in Elysium; once they all got there, Chloris quickly grouped them together and stashed them in her house, where she regularly suffers nervous breakdowns over them.
-And seeing as she's in no state to do much of anything, Astyc and Archer, the second and third oldest, run the house.
-The younger kids, from Neaera on, insist on calling Chloris "Meli", short for Meliboea, which was her old name, which will be quite confusing when the Melinoe-Meli eventually meets them.
More to come, probably. I'll probably oneshot them with ValiNariMeli.

1:The boys Meli is holding are Eury/Epi's twin boys Tycho and Belen (her brothers) who belong to Fenixe, the couple in the center is Fenixe's Jesse and Laphi (WHO I CAN FINALLY DRAW FANART OF BECAUSE I CAN DRAW THEM YISSSSSS) and the doodles everywhere else is fluffy-bby-Fjoer because he hatched yesterday (July 13!)

2: Flint! in which I practice drawing baby griffins and pride myself in the ability to draw at least one okay-looking animal. Also, spontaneous Lokisons. And a 2-methyl 2-butanol molecule. um ignore that.
3: 2025!april says idk man
4: I had this saved in photoshop, I guess so I could color it, but that's probably never gonna happen, so here you go

In Norse mythology, Loki had six kids. Now that I've adopted Loki into my little roleplay character family, in about a year/less, that grand total will be eight.
...Here's one of them.
Fjoer (Norwegian for 'feather') is half owl/Jotun/Greek god/Norse god, the (completely accidental coughcough) son of Loki and Laphi. Follow the arrows to see his progression from egg to chick/baby to... um whatever that is.

Drawn/colored a while ago, I guess I forgot to upload it. I decided that both Melinoes were/are piano prodigies. Wonder if anyone'll ever find that out.
I had another half of this picture, of Meli playing in a different shot, and I was going to put them together... but I'm feeling really lazy rn so I guess not. Also I lost the other sketch. So here's the creepier, better side. weeeee

Chal's first introduction!!

Okay, this is Thanatos's son, Chalasmos. His mother's Ker (floating around somewhere in my pictures)... he was born only so after Than was put out of action, there'd be something around to replace him. They blackmailed the goddess of pregnancy to speed it all up so he was born in a week, then supergrew him to 11, and will supergrow him to 16 at around December/January. (he's 16 here.) White skin, black hair, red irises and bloodshot eyes, his wings are gray, his cloak/cape/thing is black, and his chiton's red. crappy pictures so details can't be seen, like the fact that his chiton pin's a skull or that he's so skinny his ribs are showing. His wings arch behind him in a weird-sickle-like-shape, and then the batlike things off his arms is a cape/cloak... They're attached to him by bracelets on his arms. His wings are gray and his cape is black, his regular chiton is red like his father's.
